 KAR
Awards Top Honors At 85th Annual Convention
The KAR awarded its top honors to KAR members
at its 85th Annual Convention recently held in
Wichita. Distinguished Service Award, REALTOR®
of the Year (ROTY), Salesperson of the Year (SPOTY)
and Archie Awards were all awarded to members
at the Installation and Awards Banquet held at
the Wichita Marriott.
A
Stilwell woman received the Kansas Association
of REALTORS® (KAR) Distinguished Service Award
last week at the Annual State REALTOR® Convention
held October 16-18, 2006 in Wichita. Corky Hyatt,
broker for Hyatt Real Estate in Stilwell was awarded
the State Association’s Distinguished Service
Award (DSA). Hyatt is a past KAR educator and
author of the original Salesperson Post license
class for KAR, as well as GRI class author and
instructor, and has served on numerous KAR Committees.
Hyatt has been active at the local, state and
national levels of the REALTOR® Association.
Hyatt
has several REALTOR designations and has been
extensively active within the WCR and CRS organizations,
holding the past state president position in both.
Hyatt has been involved in a number of state association
committees which include Education Committee (member
and chair), Member Services (member, chair, co-chair),
Convention Committee, numerous Institutes, Societies
and Councils. Hyatt has also attended numberous
NAR meetings, including Mid-Year Meetings in Washington,
DC, as well as a number of Annual Conventions.
